Amazing Memories of August 26th

Happy Birthday Caleb & Cody!!

It's so crazy to think my nephews are turning 16 today!  What's even crazier is remembering that I was 16 years old when they were born.  We had just moved to Cleveland a little over a month before and I was starting a new school.  I thought it was kind of strange that I was an aunt and still in high school.  I had always thought you had to be an "ADULT" to be considered an aunt.  Unfortunately we lived 5 hours away for the first few years of their lives, so I missed out on their early years.  Then when they were about 3 years old, they moved to Cleveland and it was so fun to see them growing up and developing their own personalities.  For twins, they are so completely different but both amazing guys in their own ways.  Although, I missed quite a bit of their childhood while living in Charleston, it's so great to be around now to watch them grow into handsome young men.  I know God has great things in store for these two guys and I am excited to be able to watch it unfold.  

The Day We Made It Official!!

If the day wasn't already special enough by becoming an aunt for the very first time, it is also the day that BJ told me he didn't want to wait any longer and he wanted me to be his girlfriend!! We had only known each other for 6 days and we had talked about taking it slow just a few days before but he decided he didn't want to anymore.  Man has we had an amazing journey over these last 10 years.  They haven't always been easy but I wouldn't change the moments we have spent together for anything in the world.  I am so glad that God changed my plans and sent me to Charleston!  I look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries and special days with this amazing man!!
